MKEC is looking for a Survey Technician/Crew Chief to join our team at our Wichita, Oklahoma City, Overland Park and Tulsa locations. Duties include assisting our licensed surveyors in the preparation of topographic, property boundary and engineering design surveys as well as construction staking.
Responsibilities:
- Topographic, ALTA, engineering design survey, property boundary and construction staking
- Assisting in processing of survey data and drawing production
- Combination of field and office work
- Assist project team in meeting client expectations and schedules
Requirements:
- Experience with GPS, Total Station (robotic and/or conventional), laser levels and data collections systems is required
- Autodesk or MicroStation product experience
- Potential for licensure is preferred
- Must be willing to work in the office and in the field
- Must be willing to travel
- Must be willing to participate in drug screening program
- Must be willing to maintain safety requirements, as required by client
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Mathematical skills related to field boundary calculations to assist Professional Survey
- Basic understanding of boundary computation is preferred
