We’re looking for a Piping Designer to join our Industrial/Energy team at our Wichita location. This individual will assist with the design of a variety of projects that may include refineries, ammonia/fertilizer plants, logistics/terminals, and more.

Responsibilities:

Support the project team and design engineer with P&ID and 3D model development.
Plan and develop drawings for production work including problem analysis, design layout, and calculations.
Incorporate redline changes into existing drawings, as directed by engineers and project managers.
Assist the project team with meeting client expectations and schedules.
Effectively communicate design requirements and collaborate with other disciplines of the company.

Requirements:

Associate's degree in drafting preferred.
Familiarity with oil and gas piping and equipment specifications and drawing standards.
Experience working with P&IDs, field sketches, and isometric drawings.
Proficient in AutoCAD 3D and CADWorx.
Experience with 3D point clouds is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Attention to detail and adherence to drawing standards.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to handle multiple project tasks.
Ability to work under pressure, be self-directed, exhibit good business judgment, and handle confidential information appropriately.
Able to meet the physical demands of site visits in client facilities and related travel.
Compliance with MKEC and client drug/alcohol and safety programs.
